How to Request a WebRA challenge

This section details how you can get a WebRA Challenge, used to enroll a certificate on a WebRA profile in Challenge mode, for instance with Horizon CLI.

1. Log in to Horizon Registration Authority Interface

2. Access Request a WebRA Challenge from the drawer: Request a WebRA Challenge

You must have the permission to request a WebRA challenge on at least one WebRA profile in Challenge mode.

Profile tab

1. Select the WebRA profile. Only profiles in Challenge mode are listed.

2. Click on next button.

Metadata tab

1. Fill in all the mandatory fields:

  • Labels(string):
    The labels are used for permission, email and request search.

  • Requester comment(string):
    This comment appears:

    • to the approver when your request is in the pending status

    • in the certificate information after the enrollment

2. Click on next button

Ownership tab

1. Fill in the owner, contact email and team of the future certificate, according to the ownership policy of the profile.

2. Click on next button

Summary

If you own the enrolling permission on the WebRA profile:

1. Click on the Retrieve challenge button. The challenge is displayed and can be copied.

If you own the "request" permission on the WebRA profile:

1. Click on request button

You have to wait that your request is approved by an operator and its status is 'completed', in order to use your WebRA challenge

2. click on View Request viewRequest

You now have access to your WebRA challenge

The challenge can be used only once, and must be used before it expires.
